Recording Life Seasons

In my writing and art I endeavor to capture the seasons of life.

The season of our lives changes as we move through life and experience all it means to be human. Whether I am writing a story, a novel or a simple poem, I endeavour to capture the essence of who we are, where we come from, and to whom we belong. In my art work it is the cycle of life and the changes in the yearly seasons I seek to capture.








There Is a Season

To everything there is a season,

A time for every purpose under heaven,

A time to be born,

And a time to die,

A time to plant,

Amd a time to pluck what is planted,

A time to kill,

And a time to heal,

A time to break down,

And a time to build up,

A time to weep,

And a time to laugh,

A time to mourn,

And a time to dance,

A time to cast stones,

And a time to gather stones,

A time to embrace,

And a time to refrain from embracing,

A time to gain,

And a time to lose,

A time to keep,

And a time to throw away,

A time to tear,

And a time to sew,

A time to keep slience,

And a time to speak,

A time to love,

And a time to hate,

A time of war,

And a time of peace.

Take The Master Chef Challenge



ARE YOU A MASTER CHEF?

For Attendees of Deb's Girl's Night In Only

30th October 2010 7 pm

Yep! Of course there are rules!


Step # 2 Email me your selected recipe. Yes you can try cooking it first.
How would I know if you did or didn't.

You must stick to the $10 Budget!

Step # 3 If you are practising perfecting your dish
send me a photo to upload to the blog.

Step # 4 Cook your recipe before you arrive for the girls night.

Step # 5 Your dish will be a prize on the night for the cent auction.
1 serve needs to be presented for the other guests.
You may choose to present your dish however you wish.
Either as one single serve on a dinner plate.
Or individual tasting serves.
Presentation may earn you votes with the other guests.
You will be able to heat your meals prior to your tasting.
Guests will then vote for the dish they like the most and a prize will be rewarded.

Step # 6 The remaining three portions need to be packed in take away containers as a
prize for the cent auction

OR

Sell meals to family, friends and colleagues and donate the money on the night.
