Recording Life Seasons

In my writing and art I endeavor to capture the seasons of life.

The season of our lives changes as we move through life and experience all it means to be human. Whether I am writing a story, a novel or a simple poem, I endeavour to capture the essence of who we are, where we come from, and to whom we belong. In my art work it is the cycle of life and the changes in the yearly seasons I seek to capture.

There Is a Season

To everything there is a season,

A time for every purpose under heaven,

A time to be born,

And a time to die,

A time to plant,

Amd a time to pluck what is planted,

A time to kill,

And a time to heal,

A time to break down,

And a time to build up,

A time to weep,

And a time to laugh,

A time to mourn,

And a time to dance,

A time to cast stones,

And a time to gather stones,

A time to embrace,

And a time to refrain from embracing,

A time to gain,

And a time to lose,

A time to keep,

And a time to throw away,

A time to tear,

And a time to sew,

A time to keep slience,

And a time to speak,

A time to love,

And a time to hate,

A time of war,

And a time of peace.

That's God!

Life Without Limbs :: by Nick Vujicic (Evangelist)
http://www.lifewithoutlimbs.org/

I just listened to Nick Vujicic who is one of my favourite motivational speakers - WOW! what timing!
Nick's favourite quote is always, "There is no use being whole on the outside if you're not whole on the inside"

I wasn't meant to be home this morning.  I had planned to go to the poet's breakfast. But decided it was too much on my body. I tried unsuccessfully to connect to 96.5 Family Radio and my stereo has not worked for months. When I couldn't connect via the Internet, (brain malfunction) I tried my stereo on the off chance it worked - it 'was' working! Well . . . just long enough for me to listen to Nick's interview! And then stopped. How powerful is that! Who said God isn't real!!! I believe I was meant to hear Nick's message today, although he used many of his favourite quotes and bible verses.

But today he shared about the humility involved in accepting help and carers into his life! All week I have been tiring to convince myself there are other people with disabilities that have the same struggles as me. At 42 and working from home it is difficult to accept my decline and weave my work around my support workers and home help, including needing someone to help me leave home. Nick runs an international ministry speaking around the world. He needs his workers to travel with him. Sure he has his ministry team with him. But at 26 he struggles with the same issues I do! I am not alone Nick and other PWD share the same issues and struggles too!

I also serve an awesome God! I challenge you to prove to me there is no God!!!!

You can download his sharing today at http://www.familylifeaustralia.com/  Heaven 4 Sure along with Nick's website are great places to read more about how you can know God more and connect with other Chirstians
